Gaj (Elephant):
According to Chanakya, elephants are useful for destroying enemy camps, tactics and forts. Elephants are intellect and therefore it is beneficial to have such in the army. The walls of temple covered with carvings of elephants which shows strength and ingenuity.
हत्ती:
चाणक्याच्या मते धिप्पाड शरीराचे हत्ती शत्रूच्या छावण्या, व्यूह तसेच किल्ले उध्वस्त करण्यास उपयुक्त आहेत. हत्ती म्हणजे बुद्धी आणि म्हणूनच असा प्राणी सैन्यात असणे लाभदायक आहे.
मंदिराच्या जगतीवर देखील गज थर दाखविलेला असतो ज्यातून शक्ती आणि चातुर्य प्रतीत होते.
